Our internship program allows one to test his or her leadership qualities in a business environment. As an Area Supervisor, you would be an important part of the Winkler management staff. Our goal is to provide all of our clients with “Total Customer Satisfaction.” As a Supervisor, you will have an opportunity to affect the quality of service that we provide to our clients. You will be assigned 8 to 10 swimming pool facilities. Throughout the course of the summer, you must maintain the staff and physical appearance of these properties. Supervisors should be a direct link between Winkler and its contracts.
Pre-Season
During the pre-season (up to and including May) supervisors are paid a fixed weekly salary. Supervisors that are available to work full-time will be paid $400 per week and those who are available part-time will be paid $250 per week (the same pay structure will apply for any post-season employment). During this time supervisors are getting their pools ready for opening.
Incentives
From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, supervisors are paid a base salary plus incentives based on the criteria below on a weekly basis.
- No complaints made
- 3 check sheets per pool per week must be turned in on time
- Schedules must be complete and turned in on time
- No late openings for pools
- All pools must pass health department inspections
- Copies of certifications must be posted at all pool, and everyone should carry certification cards with them at all times
- Supervisors must open one of their facilities each day
- Supervisors must call all facilities at opening
- Paperwork concerning guards must be accurate and turned in on time
- Supervisors and staff must be in uniform at all times
- Supervisors must attend all supervisor meetings
- Supervisors are required to keep your radio on 24/7
