Lifeguard Training Program
Winkler Pool Management Inc. is now offering three-day lifeguard training courses. Here's how it works:
- Reserve a spot in one of the courses by filling in the form on the schedule page
- You must attend all 3 days of a course in order to be eligible for certification
- Bathing suits, towels, and pens are required for each class
- Lifeguard Certification, First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer: $179.00
- Re-Certification for CPR: $65.00
- Certifications will be issued once payment for the course has been received

REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be at least 16 years of age
* Pass a pre-course skills test:
- Swim 300 yards without stopping; while demonstrating both Freestyle and Breaststroke.
- Swim 20 yards and submerge to a depth of 7-10 feet using a feet first surface dive. Retrieve
a 10 lb diving brick and return to the surface, then swim back to the starting point keeping
the brick out of the water.
* Must be a current or prospective employee of Winkler Pool Management.
* Must attend all three days of the course, and pass all exams to be eligible for certification.
