Requirements:

* Must be at least 15 years of age.

* Pass a pre-course skills test:

  1. Swim 300 yards without stopping; while demonstrating both Freestyle and Breaststroke.

  2. Swim 25 yards and submerge to a depth of 7-10 feet using a feet first surface dive. Retrieve a 10 lb diving brick and return to the surface, then swim with the brick back to the starting point.
