Spring Training Schedule 2008 – CPR

* CPR/AED Recertification Class only

Requirements:

* Must be at least 15 years of age.

* Pass a pre-course skills test:

1. Swim 300 yards without stopping; while demonstrating both Freestyle and Breaststroke.

2. Swim 25 yards and submerge to a depth of 7-10 feet using a feet first surface dive. Retrieve a 10 lb diving brick and return to the surface, then swim with the brick back to the starting point.

In Virginia, the City of Alexandria and the counties of Arlington and Fairfax require that a licensed pool operator be on duty during all hours that a public swimming facility is in operation. The organizations listed below are qualified to provide pool operator training and examinations:
